As Women’s Foundation of Indiana implements its statewide expansion, we will spend much of 2026 envisioning how we answer the call of community through our grantmaking in 2027 and beyond. We will also explore how we can more fully integrate Trust-Based Philanthropy into our grantmaking approach.
Some funders pause grantmaking for a year during major transitions. Women’s Foundation of Indiana has chosen to continue making grants in 2026. In round 1, funding was distributed to key Central Indiana organizations demonstrating impact in the Foundation’s priority issue areas of health, economic mobility, girls’ empowerment and personal safety/intimate partner violence, and that have been significantly affected by recent government funding cuts and policy directives.
